2012 - first flight back to Mia Mera

We took the first Easyjet flight from Bristol on March 26th 2012 with some friends who have bought the neighbouring house. Fortunately they had a lovely sunny week to move in and then left us to the thunderstorms for our second week!

The first good news was that mother cat and two kittens turned up. Mum is very pregnant yet again! A third kitten, now named Manky for obvious reasons, turned up later.

The next good news was that we got our woodburner working - after a few problems with a leaking chimney. It was great to use during the second week when the weather wasn't so good.

And even more good news is that 'my' side of the garden is beginning to look less like a building site. (Marc's side is looking very tidy still, but not quite so green!). We planted even more grass seed before we left so hopefully it will look even greener when we go back on April 27th (a weekend trip for the baptism of Thanassis and Christina's twins)

We've also got name plates for the house

And have had windows put into the basement.

The next big job is to have the arches put into the basement - it might have to wait until the winter now.
